My research is aimed to develop a predictive model for a
viral infection
within a single cell. This will be accomplished by measuring absolute
levels
of viral intermediates during an infection and combining those measurements
with stochastic modeling of the infection mechanism. The combination of
modeling and experimental work will help determine the important parameters
during a viral infection, and will be used to predict viral behavior across
different hosts.
