I am currently analyzing gene sets which consist of genes that are differentially expressed in mice that are either susceptible or resistant to diabetes. Each of these gene sets consist of genes that appear to be co-regulated based on microarry data. By applying sequence analysis tools to these gene sets, I am looking to discover evidence of common sites for transcriptional or translational regulation within each set of genes.
