The use of x-ray diffraction as a tool for acquiring molecular and atomic level detail for chemical and biological systems. Examination of disorder within protein crystals. Use of molecular dynamic simulations to model disorder within crystals. Characterization of nanomaterials synthesized via protein crystal templates.
