My research interests lie in the fields of Scientific Visualization and human-computer interaction (HCI). I am currently working on Capillary Histology Imagery Visualization and Exploration (CHIVE). CHIVE is an ongoing collaboration between the Graphics Lab in the Department of Computer Sciences and the Lahvis Lab, a lab in the Department of Surgery. The project is an effort to study the relationship between the anomalies in the vascular architecture of the brain and deficits in cognitive and psychosocial abilities such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s Disease, and autism.
